Warrington Wizards were formed off the back of Woolston if memory serves me right but they have teams in the NW Counties as mentioned above.

Should be a good encounter between Dan for Woolston and a couple of MB lads who play for East today by the way

Maurice (Neil) does care about the club despite some stupid ramblings on this message board. Wasn't it Neil who was behind the invention of LISA? I also think he has been involved in the professional support group, but may be wrong. I do agree that he needs to stop some of his totally unnecessary wind up posts which can cause negativity etc. I remember one such post of his back in 2007 when we weren't performing too well under Darren Shaw. Maurice posted that 'Ian's back' This prompted many pages of discussion, most of it saying that they were glad that Millward was coming back and it was about time that Shaw was sacked. I few days later Maurice posted for a second time on the thread to say, 'Ian Smith's back refereeing this weekend' I felt that these two posts were totally childish and unnecessary. Maurice, please continue to help the club with the great ideas that you come up with, but stop these totally unhelpful wind-ups

Right or wrong I felt we were slowly walking to oblivion, it didnt feel like the Save HP campaign that engaged all fans and raised a lot of money quickly - it was meant to stir emotion and shake folk up, some of the reaction shows it succeeded. Glad you are one of those.

CP, this situation is too serious for wind ups, the topic was to spark a reaction of passion, which seemed lacking. Together we will come out the better for this, but we must be passionate about our future and the role we fans must play in it.

BUT the passion must be directed in a positive way Neil and unfortunately too many people take opportunities like the one we are in at the moment to snipe and build up the grudges and take perverse pleasure in doing so, that is not being a supporter.
