All joking aside...what a great 65 minutes of a performance that was. Barrow were understandably and clearly up for it. We were caught cold with an unsettled team. I was there a couple of years ago when we conced 74 or similar, and I am sure a few people's minds were going back to that and thinking öh no, not again (come on be honest!).

But credit to Millward as his team talk really seemed to have sent them out with their heads screwed on, and were even able to turn on the style despite being behind for long periods..

Great win, when i was going to work at ten to six it was 18 6, then i got a text off Roman Officer to tell me it was 26 all, then to here the final score absolutely brilliant, sounded like you sang your hearts out for the lads as well, just wish i could have been there, well done to team and fans.

Barrow had scored 3 tries by the time we'd even had our second or third set of possession, 2 tries came straight from winning the ball from their own kick off and another from a wonky bounce of the ball from an up and under.

After we'd settled it down and got some possession we battered them all over the park. I said to Matt after 25 minutes that we'd win this and he asked me how much I'd been drinking!

First try after half time was the important one, from there we kicked on and virtually nilled them until they scored deep into injury time (from another bloody kick we need to look at that a bit more)

Nanyn's last try came from a pass that was about 3 days forward and straight in front of us. Maybe if the floodlights actually lit up the corners and the wings, the ref would have seen it.

I should have never doubted your faith Ste! I did say we'd done well to keep it to 10 points behind at half-time though given the fact that Barra seemed to score almost every time they had the ball early on.
