yes the home team did have to change, we have played with a red vee, my recollections of a blue v could well be affected by the amount of Double Diamond I used to consume in those days (for all you pups DD was a real gradely drink and Manns brown ale (mmmm) not this knatts pee that passes for lager these days - then again who remembers Grunhaller (sp) now that was cr*p)

I think around Murphs time so between 69 and 71 we lost a Lancs Cup Final to Swinton 7-4.

We beat Widnes in 1970 to win the LANCS CUP @Central Park (the highlights are on the 70-71 season compilation tape I was selling a couple of years ago).

We lost a Lancs Final at Central Park V Swinton 11-2 in 69/70 and then won in 70/71 at Swinton v Saints 7-4...........I`m glad I kept my Rothsmans yearbook..
