Quote: Mookachaka "Just out of curiosity, who knows that Nick Griffin is there local MEP??????'"

Are you happy about Nick Griffins buddies he has been associated with ? Are you happy about how he has publicly stated he wants to use slogans for the man in the street to relate to, to deflect away what their murky past is about ? Do your research matey.....its all there on youtube, and google. They have had an image change to hide what they are all about. Tapping into peoples concerns with slogans won't solve anything.
There was outrage when Nick Griffin was elected - but he used the system and ignorance of people not seeing through what they are about. Just because a tiny 1+% of the NW voted for this guy doesn't mean he is the saviour - tho its great to know his expenses and wages are being paid by us, not icon_twisted.gif This is what low turnouts do.

Quote: mr. chairman "i'm not a bnp supporter but i have over 40years experience of working on social housing and i have been on most council estates in the country , believe me its the same all over , one noticeable factor being that there are a lot more people from other countries living on these estates than there was 30 years ago and the majority of these do not work . it has given me a different view of how we operate as a country but it as most certainly not made me racist'"

My dad lived off Wigan Road (the estate across from the petrol station or used to be), and the area was good a few years ago - so much so he was considering buying the house. It went down hill. Daily rows between locals, and fights, police around seemingly every day. Drinking outside their houses until early hours in the morning. Funniest bit (if you can say that) was when my dad was mowing the lawn in the afternoon, only for one of these useless doley's to shout through bedroom window to shut it as he was sleeping - well its hard work drinking into the early hours at our expense.
Needless to say he ain't there any more, and thats another person that wants the quiet life leaving probably replaced with another doley.
Blaming immigrants when there are idle buggers too that are a drain rather than a gain isn't solving anything.

kcab sfrawdder Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg

Quote: TV BOY "Starbug, whats wrong with talking about sex? I quite like it.
Mutt every single political party offers things in their election manifesto that they have no chance of delivering and they know it. They are all only bothered in getting their face on the goggle box and making a name for themselves that will go down in history. The party that listens to the people of this country and delivers a safe enviroment along with a health service and education system that works will never be out of power. The party that realises that this country is not a super power anymore and reduces our involvement in any and all of the conflicts around the world will also be looked on favourably by the electorate. Finally the party that gets absolutely radical with our imigration dilema will I have no doubt win. You have to break a few eggs to make a cake and success favours the bold. But I wil never vote BNP.'"

By SEX , I mean the various facets of sex , ie who's doing who and if somebody is doing somebody they shouldn't be doing and also the issue of homosexuality in all it's forms

Then as I said earlier , POLITICS , another very personal issue and one that can cause upset and ruin strong relationships and friendships [ I do know several people who support the BNP , but I respect their views , wrong as it is in my eyes and I dont let it get in the way of my dealings with them ]

And last of all , RELIGEON , a real hornets nest if ever there was one icon_biggrin.gif

All best left alone , IMO icon_rolleyes.gif

Isn,t there a saying that goes something like the best thing to ensure evil flourishes is that good men do nothing?

To dislike someone with a passion just because they are different from you and your ethnic background beggars belief.

I haven't as far as I know any friends or family who would be so silly as to associate with anyone who was revolted by the thought of anyone being different.

I wished two Wigan supporters well before the match yesterday. I must be simple I thought Wigan was the cause of all Leigh's problems which surprisingly has nothing to do with my living in the posh part of Salford incidentally.

Get a grip there are good and bad everywhere it is not just about wether someone is black or white or likes living in caravans. Sorry Fred. icon_wink.gif

So they're going to re-write the constitutional changes in local government are they, set in stone over 30 years ago by Lords and Ladies. On their own. When? How? Where?

Would you trust them to set up and run finance, education, welfare, and housing departments? They couldnt run a f*cking bath.

They might as well say they will build Westleyth International Airport and turn the canal water into pure gold, because there's as much chance of that happening as well.'"

Thats the point though a lot of people will read it and be sucked right in by it now i don't think i could bring myself to vote for the BNP but i understand why people vote for these types of party, i think the word "racist" is used far too easy when "misguided", "gulible" etc would be more apt for most of there voters.

There is no denying this country has a problem with imigration and here are a few examples from personal experiences

In my street we have a house with 8 slovakians living there and work at ASDA warehouse on nights they share 3 cars not one of them has road tax so arn't insured the rent on that house is £400 p/m thats £50 each before bills now what happens to the rest of the money they make? It all goes into the bank untill they have made enough to go back home and live comfortably.

My know a kitchen fitter who was laid off 6 months ago he hasn't been able to find a new job because of the ammount of cheap labour available another of my mates is a joiner for Seddons and hates it when he's on new build sites because he's in the minority. You only need to go to the pleasure beach at Blackpool and you won't hear many English/British accents amongst the workers.

The BNP will always target areas with high unemployment and high imigration because they know they can win easy votes by "relating" to the common man, you don't see them campaigning in places like Alderly Edge because they would be challenged by people with top educations who can see straight through there policies.

It'd be a brave leader of one of the big three to stand up and admit we have a problem and then act on it, the first major party to say they'll pull us out of the EU will imo walk an election. Mr Browns popularity sored for weeks after his "British jobs for British workers" line
I know Jeremy Clarkson isn't the most liked person in the world but he worte an artical a few years ago on the Peugeot 207 the jist of it was, people who worked at the Peugeot plant in coventry (where they made the 206) paid there taxes to Mr Blair who intern gave that money to Brusells who then gave it to Slovakia who used that money to build a massive car plant. This new plant could build cars at a fraction of the cost of building them in Coventry so Peugeot closed down the Coventry plant and moved production over to Slovakia and the 2500 workers who had paid there taxes to help an eastern european country found them selves in the dole que. Surley that can't be right?

Since the government stopped listening to the working classes support for the BNP has and will continue to grow, read about the National Socialist German Workers' Party there are a lot of similarities and we all know what happened with that lot icon_wink.gif

Bit too simplistic Mutt.

Without EU membership we might not have the 8 Slovakians using cars without insurance but we would have probably another 3 million unemployed.

I actually campaigned over 35 years ago about not going in when we had the referendum.I was wrong.

Course I was a lot younger then but you,ll get there too sooner than you think. icon_biggrin.gif

Oh and while this is the Leyther board................I have always supported my home town team.

Sometimes the simplistic veiw is the best way to look at it icon_biggrin.gif

I don't understand why i should be paying towards helping a farmer in France make money, surley my taxes would be better spent helping British farmers. d040.gif

Estimates show that from 2007-2013 the will UK contribute 103bn to the EU yet will only receive 46bn where as Poland will contribute 22bn yet receive 87bn. (source = Wikipedia)

I don't even pretend to understand the workings of the EU but from where i'm sat the population of the UK are being bent over a Brussels desk and royally bummed. icon_eek.gif

So recently we had a society in which employment was full and we needed immigrant labour as those not working had no intention of ever doing so, the employment market changes and we have people wanting to work seeing potential jobs still owned by those immigrant workers.
My first act as PM would be to stop dole money to anyone out of work for 3 months or over, I would provide food, shelter, heat, clothes etc but not cash. That stops the fags, takeaways and beer.
I would then incentivise employers to take on these people and deal with those not willing to work by having the cleanest streets in the world.
Get out of the Human Rights garbage, change the legal aid system, get rid of the claims culture, empower the police to sort out the scum element and take out the red tape in prosecutions, reform schools and health administration - focus on teachers and doctors/nurses, reduce top rate tax, promote entrepreneurism, encourage business to locate to the uk, slap massive taxes on Chinese/Indian etc imports and introduce a citizenship test as in the USA.
We need a BIG BUY BRITISH campaign but we need to manufacture goods to have the choice.

Simple aint it.
