well if he has good sound advice and he isn't turned by a few extra quid he'll sign for us, more chance of playing 1st team with us, but if money is his driving force then obviously sl club will out bid us everytime, sign for us, yopu know it makes sense.

leigh east get a big pat on the back from me,they running well in the league and would love to get some silverwere any other club would be putting pro clubs off their players but east just love their lads doing well ie staying at east or try the pro game,well done to the family club glad to be part of it.

I really do hope that this lad signs! As has already been said, Salford may not be in SL next time of franchises. And with any luck, we will be But the thing is, if he joins us, and becomes a stand out player, then his will be one of the first salaries to get a raise if we did get a franchise. (just as players like Chris Hill and AJ would) And who would he prefer to better his skills under? Millward or McRae? I know my choice... Players like Sam can only help our chances of returning to Super League.

I've never seen the lad but if he's as good as folk say then he'll be plying his trade in SL one day no problem.

Until then, and at his age, I'd be avoiding a club that could easily be in the same league as us in next to no time. A couple of years maturing PT under Millward could be a lot better than being thrown into a dogfight at The Willows, running the risk of having maybe his contract terminated.

If they have to outperform 2 or 3 other clubs on the pitch to prove their worth, I can't see them relying on young lads. He might as well be ripping up trees in the Championship.

When the time is right for him, he can jump into SL knowing he's got a lot more opportunity for him.
