If this is true Millwards arrival would mean a gate increase after the Gateshead game i wonder how many more fans were lost a club in free fall does not make good revenue .Looks like the club are further up the line working on the future of the club but as usual we are always the last to know.

Maybe people will realise now that this season due to the franchise debacle is a complete waste of time as nobdy come the summer of 2011 will give a monkeys who won things in 2009. What they will remember is the team that won everything in 2010 and currently leads the table with reasonable crowds in the summer of 2011 when the franchise licenses will be announced. There is zero chance of Salford, Celtic, Wakefield, Castleford, Hull KR etc having a new ground by then. So the momentum with a new coach who is well known in all circles who will create massive media interest and more importantly attract decent players and the rest will be down to the public of Leigh to turn up. With the ground we cant be refused next time.

I honestly dont think any Championship club going hell for leather this year on Championship income is sustainable.
The smart money will be spent next year; you will see a totally different Widnes for example - question is, how much will the likes of Fax, Barrow, and Gateshead have left?
