Not necessarily. JD did mention at the Xmas lights switch on that there would be some "big names to announce in the next week or two."
I still have this inkling that contracts may only expire at 30 November - hence names not appearing in the public domain - either those we may be signing, or those who are going elsewhere.
** In fact, a quick browse of the Operational Rules, in C1:3:20, it states that contracts end on 30 November ** |

Preliminary contracts! The ones that wait for better offers before the deadline?
Widdops pre contract at Wire obviously more transparent.

I saw Duffy post a picture of a training session which included, Riddy, gregg and woods.
Also heard whispers of brierelys return, and saw stuff online
Anyone know anything about these?

The Ryan one was posted by his brother - maybe a wind-up, maybe not!
Personally, I would want something different at half back. I like Riddy, Ben, Ryan and Woods, but that's almost the combination we had last year. I would rather we brought in someone with the 'x-factor-' - the ability to change a game. |

So following on from the above post, are you now able to confirm if young Ridyard secured a very favourable & lucrative deal from the decision maker of if he is still expected to work for free as you originally insuated for all to conclude ? |

I wouldn’t say at 33 years of age. Young Ridyard? The goal stated by DB was Toronto out of the way and Leigh go again for SL. If Leigh don’t throw the gauntlet down this season, they potentially may have New York to contend with in 2021.

No worries, my personal view is Riddy has had the taken on several occassions because of his love of the team that gets exploited. You have to appreciate his future was in complete limbo and he'd got his job as a roofer back, to then have to go back to his new boss and say he needed 3 afternoons off a week to train a youth team (and not get paid - as the offer at the time) was a bit .
Even last season bringing in Brown and dropping him to me is just a joke and can't fathmon why the management did that.
Hopefully he got a good offer, him and Woods were striking up a good partnership early last season.
Riddy whilst having lost pace still has the best rugby brain in the team, he organise attack and defense and moves the side around the pitch and has a good kicking game.. Reynolds, Woods don't do that, I doubt Reynolds could ever do it.

I’m delighted to see Riddy back in Leigh Colours . I cannot understand why he was seeming left out of team late on last season ? He’s simply a class above Reynolds,Woods and Ellis he was never blessed with pace but neither are aforementioned! With pace Martyn could well have been the greatest player we’ve ever had, that accolade is firmly in John Woods hands !
