The vast majority of grounds I have been to offer cash turnstiles and have no such problems, handing over cash only takes a few seconds longer than ripping a ticket stub. Agree on the roof, poor design!

Yes but with only 1 cash turnstile, the queue would be much bigger, therefore you'd still get wet

I've been to something like 20 grounds this year, been thinking and the only times I can recall queuing at the turnstile are at the Halliwell Jones ticket only entrance (never a queue on the cash/ticket entrance) and to get into the LSV north stand! Oh and in Perpignan though that was mainly due to the weird new turnstiles being a nightmare to work.

Not quite as bad as Steve's making out Keith, but I think the bottom couple of the stand maybe three get wet if the wind's blowing in the wrong direction.

At the batley game we was 5 rows from the back and still could feel rain !!!!!

you was only safe on the 2 top rows on't terrace but the wind was forcing the rain in every direction so bad like never before in't LSV so we aint gonna see it like that often.

Yes I think it depends on the wind direction to be fair, which I think a lot of grounds are like that.
