As I said earlier, if you are in a partnership, then ' milk ' it for all it is worth, especially if by doing that it allows you to make a better judged decision on entering a partnership in the future

But it has been like for ages in the league we are in. No doubt you will remember when you were on the Board we never bought anyone.

The thing that has changed is the Dual Contract player thing which like most you are against but has served Leigh well in the league we are in.

Course if people stopped spitting their dummies out and actually watched our team instead of still retaining an interest in the clubs fortunes and' criticising but not contributing' then the club might be able to offer contracts to more players
then we might not need DC players.

That might happen Frank, if there was a clear direction from the board that said, we are looking to breaking the arrangement we have to be Wigan's reserve team and we would prefer to sign permanent players rather than use DR's in the future. Otherwise if we carry on as we are then I and a lot of others will continue to criticise and not contribute.

I don't think it is too early. The new board have been watching Leigh all season and must have their opinions on the arrangement we have with Wigan.
I don't understand why thsi is a different issue. Using Wigan Reserves and DRs means we don't have to sign as big a squad. Maybe better from a financial point of view but means team selection is controled by Wigan or Warrington or whoever as much as our own coach as they determine the availability of the DRs. We have seen this many times, DRs who have become key players in our team being withdrawn at the key end of the season. It is this that I object to. I would prefer to see a sqaud of (maybe) less talented players signed to Leigh, the team selection of which is controlled completely by our coaching staff.

If that was to happen close season, how would you support it?
