| No guarantee Hill will leave, but I agree he'd have my blessing.
I'd love him to sign for Warrington but not sure that will ever come to fruition. Fingers crossed he sticks with us and eventually we get to the promised land, sooner rather than later.

| Quote frankb="frankb"Not good reading that Nozzy because like most Leythers I think he can do better than that.
Re Widnes and Non Relegation League I do not think promoted is the right word. Invited is better which says it all about the RFL's current attitude to on field success and which is why the Expansionist clubs will be the bottom 3 clubs in this the third year of this daft experiment which should be binned sooner rather than later. IMO of course.'"
I hope he goes somewhere else and as you say he can probably do better than widnes. Although i'd rather he went there than W*gan or HKR... just.
But if the majority of SL clubs stop looking overseas for talent then there are a few players in the championship who could have a lot to offer at SL level.

I apologise I must have misheard the stats what he (Ian) said was he was guessing it would be over 200m, the m gained were actually 184m, two other forwards also gained over 100m as did both wingers. Must clean my ears in the morning - or buy a deaf-aid.

Living in Warrington, I can guarentee you that they have tracking Hilly for some time.
If he goes sooner rather than later, It will more than likely be Wire.
The relationship between both clubs is very strong.

| I reckon Wire would be favourites - 'cos Chris knows it would break all our hearts if he signed for W*gan, and he's too nice a lad to do that to us!!
Of course, were IM to move back to SL before Chis leaves, you can bet your ar$e he'd be top of his shopping list for Basil's new club!!.......it wouldn't be the first time it's happened at Leigh!!

| Hilly may stay with us because it absolutely suits his lifestyle. Who is the local lad who refused to go pro because playing amature suited his lifestyle? Chris may have to give a lot up to be fulltime proffesional which may not appeal to him and his familly.

| I'll buck the trend and say I hope he doesn't go to SL unless its with us.
More than happy seeing him put in top dollar performances for a club he wants to be at.

With a young family to support, he can be financially better off by playing semi-pro and also holding down a job than he would be playing full-time in Super League.
