in Town this morning I was accosted by three different people who all said the same thing to me i.e.(did you see that letter in the paper about your stewards it's disgraceful" to the first two I explained slowly and carefully that the stewards weren't Leigh Stewards but were employed by the L.S.V.so although it was negative publicity for the Club it wasn't the Clubs fault. but when I was stopped for the third time in 10 minutes I said "look it's bugger all to do with me just because i watch the team I am not responsible for the actions of one bloody idiot Iv'e no time for any of em if it was left to me I.d sack the bloody lot of em cos theyr'e all less than bloody useless anyway so would you mind going and mithering some other bugger" I felt bad afterwards but the actions of one idiot have had repercussions on the fans now.

Its all well and good having an issue with a steward, but if this "fan" had taken the appropiate action and brought it to the attention of the LSV on the day or at a later stage, surely there would have been a better outcome than splashing all over the reporter and causing all this mither and bad publicity.

Without wishing to appear pedantic on this one, LSV takes the admission money , takes their cut for stewarding, rent and other agreed expenses, and passes what's left to Leigh Centurions.

I am reading the post. The money goes to the stadium first, how else are people going to get in? The moeny goes to Leigh after the stadium has taken its deductions. The deductions are rent for the stadium/facilities. Soooo if Leigh rent the stadium for the day it is down to Leigh to chase up.

We put flags up at OT last week. We had to get authorisation from the RFL for this due to them renting the ground on that day not Manchester United who own the ground.

Before Leigh get anything, the LSV deducts the cost of employing =#FF0000their stewards, in =#FF4000their stadium. Unfortunately, Leigh cannot be held responsible for the actions of the stewards employed by LSV. Leigh are renting the stadium, but not the stewards.

Of course, in the sensible world, both parties would get together to thrash out this, and other issues. And that does happen but, frustratingly, it takes time. Meanwhile, if this supporter wishes to withdraw her support, then that is, regrettably again, her right.
