Armistead not our best forward.... FACT ( chris hill). Armistead our second best forward.. MAYBE. However, very unfit at the moment and seems too miss a few tackles. JUst shows how good our forwards are tbh.

Exactly why the pair of them are in the same team. Dave is an offload merchant and Chris is a yards merchant. We need the pair and when the both of them have blinders we will crucifi somebody.

Chris Hill is probably our second highest offloaded, a number of times this season has he got it away to Jock who has looked to expose the gaps. He's probably made by far the most yards in the team as well.

But you aren't comparing like for like, as whenever Armistead is in the front row he's playing out of position. It's like saying Watson is a better back than Alstead.

Exactly, two different type of players. Dave is effective when we have people aware and pushing up with him giving him an option to offload. Very good ball handler ( ) and he's got a good short range kicking game. Certainly an asset to the side when fully fit. I don't think we've seen him fully fit or at his best yet.

Armistead is class an organiser in the pack great hands and a great kick on the last tackle...when he is allowed to!!!
You all say watson isnt followed and has no runners well ditto with armo!!! Any of you watch NRL their forwards are taught to turn and offload in the tackle!!! he is and will be a great Leigh player.....god am mad at some of the tosh sprouted on here!!!!

I agree on this one Armistead has been a solid performer all season and he's doing it on leg.

For those of you critisising Dave just remember Adam Bristow. I was one of Adam's biddest critics early in his Leigh career. Boy was I made to eat my words by the time he left.

Those are big boots to fill but I hope he does it.

I'm not into public fronts but I would have liked to have seen Paul in Leigh kit and not a suit for a game at Fev. To see him in a suit and Knoxy in training gear was funny. It looked like Don Corleonne and Forrest Gump.
