Why would they adopt a bust and boom strategy and change it short term due to a one year increase in income. Thats Leighs downfall. You rolled the dice and didn't get a double 6 and will now pay the price.

Im not suggesting its the end and wouldn't want that for anyone, but I suspect the gamble you played this year will push the club back for years as you try to recover.

To be fair i've been rubbing my hands all season watching the Leigh roller coaster. I thought it was a Toronto Leigh 1-2 in either order with the rest fighting for the other 2 positions.

I just hope we have a competative team and don't become another Bradford. Signing them Aussies when we are not guarenteed a top 4 spot was a ridiculous bit of management!

We were a better team when we had Leigh lads playing in our ranks, time to go local again me thinks.

IF we beat Rochdale, I doubt very much we would go full time. It should be the aim but I don't think our club are ready for it yet.

Then we need something in place to support that structure.

As I have said nowt surprises or shocks me, personally I've had a bad month and been badly letdown by some so called friends,now in sport this happens, shows you what I know.
However in BOTH cases the Clown will bounce back,of that you can be certain, and I think Leigh Centurions will do the same.
