They did it with Widnes when Catalans went into Super League. Lets not get bitter about it. We need to turn this into a possitive and come back bigger, better and stronger. Leigh as a town now more than ever need to get behind the club.

RFL have messed up with relegating 2 teams from 10 clubs. We knew the rules about Toulouse. The fact about 2 going down is it was unfare even before a match had been played this season.

Agreed.
The RFL might wash their hands and say 'thems the rules' but it doesn't make it ok. It wasn't when it happened to Widnes, Castleford and it isn't now.

Is it actually set in stone that, with Toulouse finishing in the bottom two and with them being immune from relegation, the team above them go down?
If not I think that they should only relegate Donny and promote two teams to bring the number of clubs in the Championship up to twelve making it unnecessary to have blank weeks (which is what I'm sure they would have done had Gateshead been in that position).
Anyway, if you do go down as seems likely I am really sorry and hope you bounce back at the first attempt as I'm sure you will.

| Farce! where has the sportsmanship gone in the game? All you that are putting we deserve to go down and its our own fault just look at the table. We dont deserve it at all as we are not in the relegation zone! the rugby league is a farce and no doubt that this is just going to turn people away from rugby league and our club. Sad sad day |
