As much as I have praised and supported and defended Jamie, in todays game he has something missing that could make him a top player in our league and SL. His size. If he could put on half a stone and be the same player (with pace and side step) then he would have the confidense to tackle a forward on his own. He doesn,t have a problem going forward but he needs more confidense bringing down players bigger than himself and a bit of weight could help him. Been saying he should have been playing more all season but if he is a weak link then he should become stronger or go. One thing I would like to know is, when he has not been playing for the first team and has not been injured. Why as he not been playing for the reserves?

why disrupt the reserves? but can think of a time when he's ben out when he hasn't been injured

Gives us something different in attack off the bench, but I'm sure the hooking position for next season will be completely different. All Millwards teams are built around spelling two quality hookers who give the team go forward and are solid in defence. Unfortunately Durbs lacks the second requirement. If I'm not mistaken most of Sheffields points on Sunday came when Durbin was on the field.

Both Durbin and Chris Hill were off when they scored the 18 points. So i wouldn't criticise Durbin for is efforts in defence. Tbh i think Durbin has defended quite well this year for the size of him.

I,d have Durbin in the team anytime he,s the only one apart from
Mort capable of making a long break hes a good player and if they gave Maden a contract they should give Durbin one thats for sure !!!!

It wouldn't surprise me if they only offered him half of what he is on this year.

Bench player at best, can excite, shows enthusiasm, can occasionally add a different dimension to the play but personally with what we have at present would rotate Smith and Jock at hooker and use Hemmingway and Ridyard as Watsons back ups.
