Travel the world  I'd hardly call East Manchester Travelling the World 
I can see why people, including the RL Press, are quick to equate LRLC to Toronto, after all it is an unprecedented scenario that a new Club has ten or more current players who represented Leigh! Their Coach and his Assistant have also played for our Club and, they probably have more Leigh Heritage players than Leigh  Goodness knows where their next recruits are coming from? one things for sure, it wont be Canada!
Rugby League has been around since 1895 and we have not been able to expand it outside our three main Counties of Lancs,Yorks and Cumbria! It has of course been played in Australia,New Zealand and France for almost as long however, each country has an 'Heartland' that they have found hard to expand from!
Are we now to believe that Canada is the missing Jewel that has been discovered by our former Coach? If so PR will become revered like other famous Pioneers / Explorers Scott, Hilary, Colombus and of course Nanook of the North !! To think PR once represented our Club  Statue anyone? |

IIRC ,this clip was available to view before any news from the club that Kay was leaving. I don't think he played again that season(Please correct me if i'm wrong),although him & Beswick spent time on stall duty in the market,and neither of them made an appearance for Leigh again. Make of it what you will.

Kay was out of contract at the end of that season and all players can seek new employment after the end of June in the year their contract ends which is what he did. Nothing illegal there, the video was done on the 22nd July.

Are you saying he was paid to fake an achilles injury? Good riddens to em all accept the ones who where professional enough to see their jobs through.
Anyhow, regarding the OP post, I haven't seen any official complaints along with no statements or apologizes apart from hearsay,again. So good riddens to PR also.

Sure, I was just curious why he never played,was it due to the fact he should have kept schtum until it was officially announced? TBH i'm not sure . BTW - That video was published on YouTube on 22nd July,Could've been made available on SM sooner. Not that i'm bothered in any way. Like atomic says, Let's move on. |

I moved on when they did-they all left for their own personal reasons but its obvious the bottom line was they did not want to be employees of DB once Rowley had gone. |
