Its always a tough match at Fev but I feel this one Will be really difficult as Fev will have targeted this game as one they can win, fully expect them to come out all guns blazing.
Need to be 100% switched on from minute 1 to minute 80 to make sure we keep moving forward and keep everything in our hands as far as the 8's go.

Agree with everything you say there JENKY it won't be an easy game we need to be focused for the full 80mins or we could become unstuck, I think we will be though to be fair.

Im convinced Rovers will give there best performance of the 8s so far, they had a right dressing down after Sunday. If that will be enough we shall see

I expect you guys to win. Fev have had to play two weeks in a row against Super League sides as well as work and train part time throughout the week.

Fev will come out all guns blazing so we will need to keep our heads, keep our discipline, and play it tight for as long as it takes for them to start to tire. As g-balls points out, two weeks of SL teams will have taken it toll and we should have enough fitness and quality to take the game in the 2nd half.
Complete and stay disciplined and we win this one.

I agree it's a must win game for Leigh, as every win we achieve takes us nearer the 10 points we need to get promoted and avoid the MPG ,but for Fev I can't see how it's a must win game , they probably won't win a game in the 8's and that's no disrespect to them, they are only playing for pride really,though I don't doubt they will throw everything at us early on,Leigh are a completely different Team this year and will weather the storm and win by around 12 -20 points.

Fev aren't out of this yet, if they beat all the Championship teams starting with us this Sunday they could make the MPG.

Don't forget, Charlie, that in the last four months Leigh have only beaten Fev by 6 points and, more recently, by 4.

Half way time-wise between the Salford and Fev games, the euphoria is, for me, being gradually replaced by nervousness. I can't help worrying that my (posted) relief at having Rovers to face rather than the Bulls might come back to stick its incisors in my posterior!

Glow , if my reckoning is right Fev have to play London and Batley away after us and I just can't see that happening, that's no disrespect to Fev,but although they will play with plenty of spirit and enthusiasm in the end our fitness and Class will see us through,in theory I agree Fev can make the MPG, but being realistic , there's more chance of my hair starting to grow back.

The pros of being fulltime will always outweigh the cons of being part time training wise.Intensity is a word often used come the middle 8's,and that's the hardest thing to create as a Championship team playing Championship football week in,week out.

As the intensity levels arn't there every game,artificial scenarios have to be put in place and Paul Cooke has masterminded the scenarios.That fella is making the difference for the 8's this time round for Leigh.

Whether Fev can match that intensity,we'll find out Sunday.
