It would be disappointing if Derek needs to tip any serious money in this season coming, there will be cash flow issues, ie nowts coming in until ST's are on sale, but if we fans do our bit and keep gates at 3000 or above then my calculations suggest we will have gate income circa 600k plus 200k funding plus sponsorship etc so 5/600k must be available for squad. If we don't buy tickets that changes everything though, so get behind the ST's when out and allow the club to forecast positive income |

Spot on. Quietly ish for 12 months having removed over £1 million of wages and liabilities from Leigh RLFC.
It has all transpired as I predicted even prior to the quick fire sales of Hall, Crooks, Hanson, Pete et al
12 months PT, and we should then expect FT status again from 2020 and a full on SL assault, hopefully with Toronto gone.
Derek never was going anywhere. |

What happens if Toronto Flatpack don't make it to SL this year & push again in 2020 ? Do we continue to stay PT until they are gone ? |

And a grand job he has done IMO to retrieve the situation, but based on your comments (which most of us very much appreciate) then lessons have not been learned. Surely we need some structure, and we seem to be signing people settled in a PT environment - do we scrap them all off again next year, that works well |
