| That was bloody brilliant. We didn't half put ourselves under pressure with silly errors and penalties but we stood up in defence and held our own.
Fair play to Rowley and the boys, we stuck to our usual free flowing, swing it wide, attack from anywhere style of play and Salford couldn't handle us at times. Takes some balls to play like that against a top 4 side from a division above and it paid off in the end.
Beswick, Emmitt, McNally and Spencer were sensational.

All the team gave everything to the cause today
Tom Spencer is back to his best and will be a major force for the remainder of this season - following on from an excellent 2014 up to his very unfortunate injury.
I singled out Bob Beswick for his awesome full 80 performance at Sheffield last week but to back it up with another top drawer full 80 this week was very very special. He is some athlete - his commitment and class was an example to all today. |
