We haven't actually seen the full squad yet, but weeks ago Wigan said they were sending "their 1st team/strong side" Technically they are 1st team players, was hoping for 4 or 5 of their star players though...good grief Anthony Gelling is the star man out of that lot !

To me the squad that's coming is a first team and other than the Bowen they are showcasing all the pre season signings.

It's a very strong squad they have and let's not forget the household names like Sam, Harrison H, Pat Richards have all left them



I believe Charnley is also injured.

I think the squad that's coming makes for a really exciting game and they are all fist grade unlike previous years. Indeed the 19s squad are away at present.

The U19's are back - And some are playing.

Bowen, Charnley, Goudling, Green, Smith, Taylor, McIlorum, Pettybourne, Farrell, Clubb, O'Loughlin etc - Basically the starting 13 aren't playing.

It's not a warm up for the WCC in anyway shape or form, just the run of the mill run-out to shake cobwebs off.

I understand this game could be your biggest earner of the year but you've placed more value on the game than it's worth, of which most Wiganers have recognised. So I like many others will give my money to Wigan TV instead.
