But aren’t message boards all about rumour and gossip? It’s down to the powers that be at the club to control who they trust with insider knowledge.

Times like these make me wonder why I, or anyone else, bothers to run a forum like this. 12+ years on the clock, I think it might be time for me to have a think about walking away from it.

I'm just not up for the back biting, in-fighting and sniping any more. Most of all, I don't want to deal with the sad freaks who seem to come on here only to push their agendas against the club or its staff.

You mean like discuss things?

No, I mean the people who are willing to hijack any thread to push the same point, regardless of the fact that they're also discussing the same thing on who know how many other threads and have been for a long time.

I mean people that take to name calling and character assassination because someone / most people / almost everyone disagrees with them.

I mean the people who don't know what it is to have a discussion, who can't have their opinions changed not because they're right, but because they've formed their opinion and everything else is immaterial.

And I mean those people who can't seem to form a single positive opinion on anything they discuss on here.

Had enough of it, this forum is at it's lowest ebb.

I have no agenda against the club, but if the club want only ‘yes’ men then they should have an official message board, with their own rules on posting, user names etc.
