To sign Paul there would of been no way we could of kept Watson the money is too tight. We've simply gone for out with the old & in with the new without any extra players bought in. Yes Watson is missed but we have to use wot we've got people are on contracts & Millward can't do anything about that one. All he can do is mentor our lads & train them the best he can so until our duals contracts come we'll have to make do!

Nothing official from the club, other than a comment about the Ben Davies move to Widnes in the rugby press, otherwise only rumour and hearsay. We are playing at best Championship 1 standard rugby and its not improving, as a youngster, would you want to come to Leigh. Any SL club will want them to go somewhere they are likely to improve.

Allegedly Millward requested a on site doctors & we got one & with our injury crisis he'll be wanting to sign some dual contracts so I'd imagine we'll be getting some. With our current form & tainted by our previous season relegation it will be hard & Millward has some work to do & lots of negotiation but I think we'll pull some thing off

Did anyone notice Robbie on the SuperLeague show last night. That could only have been filmed after the games yesterday. So where did Robbie have to get too. Personally I think his press work is/could possibly interfere with his commitment to our cause.

Funnily enough one of the extremely boring commentators on the Interweb suggested Robbies commitments to his ambassadorial role etc would affct his performance.

Well Robbie had a bad game primarily because of his handling errors.

He did try to put players through gaps with astute passes but of course no matter how good the pass whoever received it would drop it.

Regarding passing I have moaned/complained about it before but Donlan just to mention one of an abysmal bunch yesterday should be able to pass properly at this stage in his career.
