I have watched Leigh train a few times lately as they have been pracisting on the field near where i live and to be honest it been a joke, when i played amature rugby for Thatto Heath we trained harder. Too much messing about, Rowley is trying to be one of the lads instead of the coach so i can see why nothing works its beacause nothing is practised.......

OK I understand that but who the hell has recruited this squad and not done anything about it. Surely a half decent amateur pivot player would have been a better aquisition than Nanyn for example. Maybe Watson gets the stick because he is the leader out there and his troops are letting him down - like a boss would be blamed for poor staff results.

I find it unbelievable that our MOM is a guy who has to come inside to look for the ball and spends all afternoon trying to duck under peoples arms and not really making any progress. I quite like Stanton, he is a crowd pleaser but it's a bad situation when that is all we can offer all afternoon.

But if every player did the same then the shape of the side should fall apart. He needs to learn to be more disciplined in his positioning, and instead give the pivot(s) a rollocking for not spreading the ball out wide rather than risk leaving a gaping hole at a turnover.

He would'nt get any ball he never does they only seem to pass to Madens wing .

Then he shouts himself ho until the ball does come his way. He can't disrupt the team's shape purely because he's forgotten what the ball feels like.

He put his hand up on more than one occasion and when Donlan did'nt pass to him deep in our half he must have thought "bugger this i 'll find the ball myself"its blatently obvious he is not used properly and this needs addressing otherwise whats the point being on the pitch to scream and shout for the ball just to be ignored after all its a team sport but some players like to keep the ball to themselves.

On the subject of the Maden/Stanton wing debate.......

That little kick to Madens corner. How many times has it failed in the last 3 games? 10, 12? It's become embarrassing.

It has no more chance of working than I have of playing netball for the Faroe Islands yet appears to be our only planned move on their 10.
