Indeed, a very fair reflection of the game. Biggest disappointment for me so far has to be Thackeray - inside ball after inside ball all night. We were far to slow and predictable. As people have said before I think Widnes will struggle in the forwards this year and no reason why that will change when we play yourselves.

It could all click into place next week, but until it does, Widnes certainly aren't living up to the favourites tag just yet. IMO we're really struggling to find any sort of form and my own personal opinion is that we could do with freshening up in the coaching department. It jst hasn't worked with McCormack in the past and no signs of it changing any time soon - how long is Neil Kelly's contract with Leigh?

IM a die hard widnes fan, so if you want have a pop at me but what i will say is while we have a complete fool in charge the results of the above will become more frequent, you have a fantastic coach in kelly he did absoloute wonders for our club i just wish he would come back, no offence leythers lol. In all seriousness would you like to swap a coach who shows no EMOTION what so ever and who also plays constant pass and drive rugby for Neil Kelly?

As a Leyther I would like to start a campaign to get Steve McChoker nominated for a MBE for services to Rugby League in the town of Leigh. He as made the lives of many a Leyther so much better with his efforts for Haven and Widnes over the years and truly enriched all our lives with some great moments. Thanks Steve you have brought me years of joy, keep it up.

Looking at the Widnes board it looks like Doran is still giving away lots of silly penalties. Armistead or Doran? Looks like McChoker as pulled of another blinder by breaking the bank to get him.
