Ok, it's very late/early morning & I confess I have just done a bottle of red *over several hours* but ....
John Kear & Ian Watson are my immediate choices.
Given that Kear has only recently signed for Bradford, I will almost discount him as an option, Watson on the other hand is in charge of a club with 2,000 fans in SL, has asked for but knows he won't get any money for new players & Salford are on very shakey ground financially.
Ian has also played for Leigh & I reckon if DB offered the right deal & £££ for signings he might go for it.
Good young coach who will allow this squad to express themselves in a sporting sense.

Think the big loss excluding all the good players we let go for no good reason was Paul Cooke he revitalised our attack to get us promoted before and without him all attacking flare seems to have disappeared, hope this changes today but at the moment KC and NJ percentage tactics don't seem to be working. Do we need a new specialist attacking coach?

To knock a kick off time and all of the clubs fans back to 5.30 on a Sunday evening. Wonder if the same attitude off jose would be acceptable to Derek as NJ and KC with regards to team selection. Results. And interviews. Or lack of interviews after a loss

Intersetingly, most of our senior coaching positions seem to have gone to forwards - positions that are not always renowned for their attacking expertise. |
