Very true! Personally, of all the players 'released'/leaving, I reckon he will be one of those who find it easiest to get a new SL club. |

He was on my keeper list but more for his potential to be dominant at Champ level than SL. I was dissapointed overall last season. I expected big minutes and strong performances, neither really materialised. I still think he is SL quality but needs to step it up.

A quick read shows why I’m a supporter and not a coach etc. 
Don’t worry atomic you are on the keeper list........ but that’s not worked out for most on there so far
If I ever post a tip for a horse DO NOT take it.  |

Here's a very interesting article about Kevin Larroyer who found himself in a very similar situation to Sam's. I think clubs have a duty of care to these players and should make it clear to them that if they lose the million pound game they won't be required so they should at least find themselves an agent and put their names around. It just seems cruel and unnecessary.

I have no doubts whatsoever that Sam will find himself a new club but it must be a shock to the system, especially when you've recently signed a new contract. |
