To be fair RFF some people have been hurt and offended by some of the things 'he/she' has said. While I agree it's not Brinks Mat, in the small environment of this forum it has directly affected some users more than others.

I think the mods probably have access to more than just Ip addresses which is why they can say for certain who it is unless the user is going to a bit of trouble to hide his ID. I must admit though when I first posed the question on the Fax board that lead to all this I actually thought it was someone else other than Charlie.

Any ideas on who posed the question here? As obviously they are also masking their true id.

I suspect all they will have is the IP and possibly an email, but an email is not worth much on the identity front.

Well I am a good friend of Charlie and my view is he's being set up by someone who is very computer literate.

Its a bit of an elaborate way to do it though. Given it is mods that have confirmed a few things I would think it is very hard to set someone up in this way. At the moment all things are pointing at charlie and I would guess it would be only fair for the moderators to confirm one way or another.

Ive no idea, I would think someone who has access to the info a mod has. More likely though its someone just putting 2 and 2 together off what has been posted on the 2 message boards as I doubt a Mod would be that stupid as to abuse the power they have making so obvious they have access to the info needed.

Do all mods on rlfans have access to all member details or only on each board?
