It should be a really good game. Rowley trying to get his players to up their game by calling Fax the best team in the Championship and as expected Barlow doubtful.

It would probably be a mistake if Leigh played Barlow as quite a few Fax players will be out to wind him up which is easily done and he would be a liability for you guys.

It will be interesting to see how we back up after the Widnes game because the players were shot and usually after a game like that its tough to win the game the week after. I think Leigh are catching us at the right time and will win by about 18 points or so but it wont be a good indicator as to where the teams actually are.

Can't see that. Lately, (three times in the Rochdale matches) we have very nearly let 18 point margins slip. (22-4 at home; 18-0 and 28-10 away) It would seem we have a problem with being 18 points in front! Mind you, I would take that over being 18 points behind!



I can understand your point about 'fax being tired from last Sunday but, on the other hand, this will be our first game against a top six side. That might just be a shock to us.

Greg, we are poor at present. We give away too much possession and if we do that on Sunday you will beat us by plenty.
If we are a big game team then we will also find that out on Sunday - I feel 10 points either way.

I’m by no means a stats man but would think Sarsfield is fairly high up in the tackling department, he’d certainly be in my team.

If we want to win this on Sunday we will have to seriously buck up, people keep bring up the point that a win is a win, but that suggests that your almoste excusing our below par performances. I might see things differently but IMO letting Keighley,Rochdale, and nwc score so many points against us just isn't good enough. If we take a lead then keep it going, we might of got away with being sloppy in the past month but Fax will punish us!. I'd take a first loss of the season against fax as they are a quality team but I just don't want this unbeaten run to end. Come on lads dig in, we are right behind you!

I think you are more than likely to raise your game this week against what is hopefully better opposition. The problem seems to be that Leigh are coasting through games which Im not sure will happen on Sunday.

I have a horrible feeling we are going to get tonked on Sunday. We were lucky to beat North Wales, they were the better team for a lot of the game, but Fev beat them 66-0. Shows how far off the mark we are, I think. I hope we improve on Sunday, but I can't see us improving enough to get a win

There is no reason why we cant win on Sunday , Charlie knows , I left the Shay last season with a blanket over my head , it was so embarrassing , we wont play as bad as that everything Fax did that day came off .Our forwards are better then the Fax pack , our Halves are much better , and our bench is by far stronger , leaving only the backs Higgy ,Armstrong and Kay are just as good as the Fax backs , but Littler must stop the silly penalties and doing windmill impressions , as for McNally nowt wrong with his attack , but needs to defend better , still im predicting a very close game but another win for the Leythers , Charlie will be there

Am sure we will on Sunday as our lads are quite capable of winning against any team in the Championship provided they put in a good 80 minute performance and that is something that hopefully will happen this Sunday.
