| Thought we played well in patches today, just seemed a bit 'undercooked' although that could sound very picky as 38-4 was a fantastic result.
Thought McNally was the M.O.M (sponsors gave it to Finnigan - with 3 tries it was deserved) and at times coming forward we looked very good.
A decent defensive display always give you a chance to build and aside from a error from the Kick off we defended solidly.
Concerns would be if Ridyard has recovered from a knock, Didn't really notice Brierly at Scrum Half - last try that he finished off was a classic though showing how good he is it at backing up.
Thought the Ref was a bit pedantic and could have let it flowed far more (or drag the captains in and have a word about the pedantic penalties from minute 1), that said we must improve on discipline as we coughed up a fair few penalties.
A nice day in the sunshine with 1,522 like minded individuals seeing your team win, can't get better than that.
Club has a bit of a task to maintain and build on support, and hope we really do keep chasing every avenue to improve on that, I'd even make this Rob Parkers number 1 target - Put 100 extra youngsters and 50 extra adults on the home gates (perhaps waiting until we've played the Fri / Thur games that we have next to give him a realistic target).

I for one hope it does, thought it was a poor game, the knock on at the start set the tone, and the odd occasion it looked like it was going to get better was spoiled by Stokes and his cronies.

| Donny were great 1st 30 minutes, we were very good 2nd half.
Ginger Stokes was awful...RL is a 'spectator sport' not a 'ref' one.
So petty....he needs to be relegated to BARLA.

| My first game since the middle of last season, a change of job should see me on the right side of the hills more often now though.
Not a great performance, although there were some patches of brilliance, some great handling and a few hard knocks.
The ref needs his ar$ kicking, what the hell was his problem with the scrums? Feeding?
All in all, a good result against a team that looked tired in the last 15, but in fairness never gave up.

My bet is we'll get him for our next televised game! (Barrow at home) Apparently his hair looks great on telly!

| I know the score may look like we defended well but if a good few of the Donny passes hadn't been forward or knocked on we would have lost yesterday. Our sliding defence is shocking and with teams who have pace out wide we will come a cropper. We are very lazy both moving up and getting across. I know a wins a win but this team are better than that performance. I thought either Simon or Stu were MOM. Young Ryan Duffy had a good run out for his first full first team game. Castle should have gone to the bin yesterday for his consistent high shots and the one on Duffy was disgracefull. Ryan just shrugged his shoulders though. I think young Mr Duffy will become a favourite at Leigh in years to come.

Tony , Donny are not a bad team , but i think if some of our passes close to the line had stuck we could have had another 20 points on the board , as you say , a wins a win , we havent hit top gear yet , when we do the Dry pitches will help us , i agree about Duffy , he had a good game and worked hard .

Agree with most of that apart from the fact Dons could not have won.
I think we will go better when Coyle is back at scrum half. Like everyone else I rate Ryan Brierley but he isn't a scrum half and seems to me to be better used coming on late to run at tired defences.
Stokes is a bit pedantic but he was the same for both sides.
Did Riddy go off because he received a knock or did PR substitute him for another reason ?
