By moving games to friday evenings the club would be aiming at a young ordiance,young families,couples and singles,if thats the case then FB, twitter and other outlets of this type seem to be the way forward these days,also the club need to aquire as many email addresses as possible so they can communicate as much info about leigh rl as possible,maybe once a month.

Iv'e no idea how or why but iv'e recieved a few emails from the crusaders and one today from the south wales scorpions giving me info about there clubs.

Strange that, I've been receiving emails for SW Scorpions. Where have they got my email address from? If its the RFL then I'm not sure that should be happening

Moving games to Fridays aiming to attract younger fans and lose a load of the old ones that makes sense!

It sort of says to me ' we cant attract the youngsters, they want to watch Wigan/Saints/Wire. So we will focus on the teenagers and adults who will make Fridays a part of their social life'.

Dangerous strategy, but who knows it may work.

It makes me wonder if Beaumont had anything to do with it AGAIN haha

The Directors were looking at the money that could be saved , on Stewards if only one stand was open , like Sundays game , maybe only the West Stand used

In numbers, if crowds dropped 300 at a cost of £40k a season, but 10 corporates came in at £10k per season each the decision is a sound financial one.
It will be interesting how things develop.

Just a thought. Although having a club must be number one although you wouldn't think it sometimes.

So your saying that corporate could make more then the extra fans that would come on Sundays then Fridays?
Say if we sold all the boxes the main room and board room were all sold out with corporate.
How much would make compared to an extra 500 or so fans through the turnstyles?
