It's tough to recruit players at this level. There's a lot more than just putting players names down in a list and saying "they would be a good signing" work/family commitments and location are often a big factor.
Stuart Jones would be a coup for the club, confirmed he's leaving Castleford and looking for a contract in the Championships. Experienced player who may be looking to move closer to home.

Peawapp, i think you are being very harsh on this matter , but obviously the decision is yours , i find Penky a very nice young man , and a very good player to boot , whether we sign him or not , i thought he was a thorn in our side all the time he was on the pitch on Friday , and again personally i would welcome him to Leigh .
You must have something against Penky to have these strong views?I myself with the help of others raise a fair bit of income for our Club , but i dont tell them how to spend it , or say im staying away if they sign a player im not keen on , thats up to PR and his team , i suggest you rethink your oppinions , and help support our Great club , not hinder them .
I have every faith in PR and Keith Freer to get the best players possible for next season , and i know the Touchdown Club ,will help all they can , along with LISA , and other fundraisers .

How could the presence of any one player, board member or member of staff influence you to stop supporting your club?
There have been a number of occasions when I have had personal grievances with the people at the club. I've been upset with various players, staff and board members at different points over the last 15 years, but it doesn't change the fact that this is the club I love and I would do anything to help improve and support it.
Remember that our club is bigger than any individual. Don't become another of the lost leythers, waiting for X to go but then never returning when they do go.
