| Really had to grind out a win, in the face of a very strong defensive performance from Dewsbury. To our lads' credit, they stuck at it and got their reward in the last ten minutes. The forwards played well, against a big set.

A bit disjointed at times - for some reason we didn't have any players dropping out of our attacking line so on a pitch as narrow as Dewsbury's it's no surprise that they were falling over each other and conceded a ton of penalties for obstruction. Was always likely to be a case of 'survival of the fittest' and we certainly managed that with the late tries. Dewsbury were the better side for long spells though IMO and the scoreline was pretty harsh on them. Decent Leigh following of 3-400 gave plenty of backing throughout, was a pretty decent atmosphere really.

Agree with this.
As for the duffy incident,iv'e only seen it live and i thought it was a cracking hit.Last tackle ,duffy throws the dummy then cuts back inside and gets clonked. There was one or two other incidents were people started whinging for no real reason, i'm sure people forget RL is the toughest team sport around and would prefere to turn the game into football

| well it wasnt the best performance by leigh, but any player who puts his body on the line in that heat deserves credit and praise, gutsy and hardworking, and is there a better prop in our league than rob parker, i have been mightly impressed this year with him, but today in that weather, just brilliant,

Like I said I have seen it again and again and again it MAY not have been deliberate as the defender was caught on the wrong foot but the tackle was high and should have been penalised, yes it is a tough sport but head high tackles are supposed to have been eradicated to stop incidents like this one so 'toughness' doesn't come into it. The aftermath between the Dewsbury forward and The Leigh physio and the ref starting play whilst Duffys was still on the field (didnt we get penalised and a player sent off for a so called similiar offence a couple of years ago- not a question by the way more of a statement) was pure bad officiating.

I think Tommy G is one of the unnoticed players in our squad....might not get many MOM's but always runs them close, regularly does 80 mins and rarely misses a tackle and has already clocked up 100 points for us!
hard to shine in a squad as good as ours has been this season though especially with Rob Parker playing so well at the moment!

Think it was entirely weather related as he was wearing it earlier in the game.

| A very good win against a workmanlike team ,the Rams are always difficult to beat at Ram Stadium ,i thought Rob Parker was easily MOM ,it would take an Elephant gun to stop him when he runs like that , in that heat a good performance , though it was tricky in the first half , still 3 points , no Dews bonus point happy days again .
