Judging by the dummy spitting on the Barrow forum, I don't think we'll ever find out. Can only assume it's floodlight related but we might as well think of a few reasons ourselves, the more obscure the better.....
....I heard Des brought the kick off an hour forward as he has to pay the players double-time when they're still on the pitch at half 7 on a weekend night.

True. However, Des has demanded that we get extra hours of sunlight on Saturday, but was only guaranteed them until 7 p.m. It would seem that, even a person of his power and influence, can only demand so much!  |
