I think "farce" is a bit strong to explain what has gone on. Not sure if a man from down under is the right choice for general manager but I have not got a clue what the job entails. I think the job descrition has now changed with Pauls U turn and the visa problems but the board have done absolutely nothing wrong for me. As it is now, making Paul Rowley the head coach is completely the right decision. We have probably the best young coach in our league and now everyone can get their stall their set and really prepare for the season ahead. I hope the calls to forget whoever is coming from down under and save the money die away and don't resurface if or when he arrives. As fans we have no idea what is going on behind the scenes at our club. Their are people on here who know some stuff but even they won't know absolutely everything. Lets leave it to those people now and enjoy this season.

5 months ago 'almost to the day'the club advertised for a head coach.
4 months ago we were told an aussie and a NZ lad were battling it out for the job,even though our club was on its ars and the candidates had clearly stated they were here for family reasons and to take in the 4 nations.
Then it comes out thats its a GM we want,not a head coach,then 4/6 weeks ago the position is advertised in the press and rowley says he wants the job of HC,then low and behold he gets the job.

Col,i'm not just saying this NOW,i've said it for the whole of the last 4 months,its been a farce.
Personally ive never believed either blackmore or adamson were ever coming here,infact there was one moment when i thought i was wrong and that was when the lsv said they were paying part of his wages.

People seem to forget that Braddy retired at Christmas and nobody has replaced him and Allan Rowley went in August and nobody has replaced him. Keith Freer as his own business to run so can only give a couple of hours a week and Trevor Barton is retired and is only doing the CEO job on a temporary voluntary basis. The club is in need for a General Manager. He can come from the moon, I don't care, but iy is an important role that the club needs to fill. Let's let the club fill the role and let the man get on with the job(s) at hand.
