£75k for winning it, though obviously a certain chunk of that would be lost in bonuses.

| At the LISA meetiing Trevor stated that they were currently working on budgets for next season, losing Thursdays knocked 30k off it as that was the least we would come away with from the GF

That's right, j.c. Any prize/ticket moeny would have helped big time, to reduce a deficit this season though.

| Well if that was the case they could not include gate receipts cos they don't know what the attendances will be.

i think an educated guess at our average attendances next season would 2000 spectators and going off this season 800 of those would be season ticket holders.if the club can steady its self and give itself the opportunity of winning trophies again then i personally think our home support will rise again.
Unless everyone cancels there DDs then LISA can guarentee what it can contribute ,the same with the lottery and the CC.sponsorships should be guarenteed.
if Ainscough does come in and sponsors the player pathways, will that free up some more money?.

| Thinking about it, no one asked us for the yearly figures of dd from LISA surely they would need this to work out their budget, rest of LISA income isn't is not a given amount , as the coach, forcast and poker all raise different amounts each week, however the coaches will have been over 1500, the poker well over 1000 , not so sure about the forcast, then we have had the \play, dvd sales. Then also we have the Hankies by Stephen Morris and the Rosettes by Sharon Dillion.
At the meeting it was said that LISA had given the club 10000 so far this season, and we still have money in the bank.

Thats why i never mention any of the events people hold to raise money for LISA,because its not guarenteed income unlike DDs.

| Well I am not treasurer but currently there are 367 members so at £5 per month that's just over £20k per annum.
Some members stump up more' but to really help our club if we could get membership up to 1500 then we could contribute £90k per annum which would be a great help.
It is at times like these that those fans who can afford too and are not members should join.
More members better players. Good results bring better attendances. QED.

The weird thing when looking at slary limits etc, this is exactly what a club must budget for to satisfy the RFL, otherwise you end up in a situation like happened in 2010 and got us this year with the point deduction.

In the past the club has been able to ' gamble ' on prize money , extra tickets sales via making NRC knock out/ play off matches because there was somebody willing to make up the shortfall if we didn't
That has now changed
But ultimately it is our fan base that decides where our club stands financially
The aim has to be to get to a break even figure without any donations
Not easy , but if you don't try , to don't succeed

Well, you might think that would the sensible thing to do, but there are problems.
How do you decide what your 'guaranteed' income is? If the team makes a losing start and crowds go down...how do you budget for that? The 'guaranteed' income could be so low that if you budget with that, you cant afford the team needed to be competitive and the spiral is downwards.
Second, you cant assume that your expenditure is fixed for the year. Crowds go up and down. This year, for example, the winning bonus payments are larger because the team did really well. Trevor Barton stated that they budget for losing 5 games in the league, which would seem reasonable at the beginning of the season.
Its a really tough commercial nut to crack and getting it wrong either way can be costly.

| Commercially your right Paul but on the salary cap 'front' if your projected income isn't going to happen because of a variety of reasons - loss of form etc... then if you inform the RFL then they understand or if your reasons are valid then, like us last year they are more lenient.
