You don't sign the likes of FFMM and Hock and have the attitude of lets draw a super league team,get a pay day,get knocked out and concentrate on the league.
We should have the attitude of lets try and win the thing,we want an easier draw as possible. |

| When we won the Challenge Cup in1971 we had quite good draws and good teams knocked each other out on our way there.
I have been watching our team since 1956 and obviously have seen us with some good players in that time.
In my opinion' but this Leigh side is the most entertaining and best team side I have watched in all of that time.  |

In 1971 we didn't score many tries in our Cup run.

We didn't' we relied a lot on penalty kicks and drop goals oh and conversions cos we had great defence.
Now we have a team who regularly score tries from anywhere on the pitch
