| We're really disappointed because we like to be prepared but we can't even test it now because those who are speaking won't take a break until we finish.

I'm surprised you can hear anything to be honest, but every time you hear the music is when our connection drops out.
We really need to get this internet connection at the LSV sorted.

| After what everyone told me about the radio, thought I would give it a try. Oh well never mind can't win em all.
Can anyone tell me if the forum is being recorded to catch up with at a later date?

It's the first one we haven't been able to broadcast and unfortunately the circumstances are beyond our control - however the Forum is being videod and will be available to view either tonight or probably tomorrow.

| Yes Martin Aspinwall is our player and apparently there was never any doubt in the board or Rowleys mind that he would be our player once he'd signed.

| On the Leighlife page but can't find the link for tonights meeting, anyone able to direct me (having one of those days !).
If its a no go due to problems at the LSV is there any chance someone can knock up some small bullet point headers of whats was discussed after the events finished later on (I realise its being videod by Fred but won't be able to watch that for a while).

We'll we've finally sorted it now that it's nearly finished so if you want to listen to the last bit you can listen in on your player:

| A very positive meeting. I would say the headline would be that financially the club made a loss this year (less than £20,000 was mentioned by Keith Freer, who did add that in the previous two years we'd lost £250,000 and £300,000 respectively) and that next season's "break even" figure is an average attendance of 1,700.
Northern Rail Cup confirmed as group stages for Championship One clubs initially with the 14 Championship clubs entering at the knock out stage (didn't hear how many C1 sides would actually qualify though unless it's as simple as two qualify to make a 'last 16'?).
No more first team signings apart from the 4 dual reg players that we're looking to bring in - given the tie ups elsewhere, these are going to be from Wigan but it will be Leigh who choose the players and want somebody like Spencer who will be involved with Leigh more often than not and also buy in to the ethos of the team and the club. 18 players signed up for the U23's which will be supplemented by players not used in the first team and, if short on numbers, bringing in a player or two on loan from Wigan, although the RFL currently have no idea how many U23 sides will actually be operating.
Also a dashing young chap won the raffle.
Hope that's helpful to those who had issues listening to the broadcast.

One thing that did cross my mind is if they somehow seed the draw - good for avoiding Featherstone, less good if we're wanting Halifax to do us a favour and knock Fev out on our behalf

Cheers for that Matt,
The big push should now start for hitting the 1,700 which should be easily achievable with a club of our size.
On that note though was there any mention of Fri night fixtures ?
PS :
I presume 'dashing young chap' now means something else these days or else you could be done by the trade descriptions act
Have you donated you raffle winnings to the Jambos cause ?
