Spot on Charlie. Iv'e seen more Rowley interviews on youtube than Jukes on Lctv. Very secretive. Lack of interviews on LCTV since Dave Parkys days

The problem is if we do happen to win our next 2 games NJ will be kept on but he isn't good enough and wasn't good enough to keep us in SL. It is boring 1 man rugby which is so easy for opposing teams to play against. DB should have got rid. It is becoming like a messy divorce.
NJ will not take us into SL and this season could see DB walking if we don't get promoted because there won't be another chance with more American teams coming on board.

Graham, this is what worries me,there's already another thread on here saying it has to promotion or bust, and I agree,to stand a chance of doing this we must be in the top 2, but how much of a start can we give our rivals?It's no use keep saying things will come right, when we click, or the grounds get better,that's the Nero attitude.
In the next 3 games we need to win and put a marker down to our rivals,Derek has said he has no appetite for championship rugby and that will be our future if we don't get there this season, so it's make or break,are Jukesy and KC the men to take us into SL? |

| There has been talk about a 10 team SL-1 and 10 team SL-2 for 2019. If this transpires, Then the big question is, Will Leigh be in SL next season? Yes, SL-2.  |

Derek, I've heard the same rumours, however it will be interesting to see what the funding would be for the teams, especially those in the SL 2 group.And even if this plan came to fruition,should we keep the same coaching team?

Coincidentally Steve, there was an interview with our coach on LCTV, after the Batley game (Won), but not after the Toronto and Barrow games! (both Lost)  |

Ok, it's very late/early morning & I confess I have just done a bottle of red *over several hours* but ....
John Kear & Ian Watson are my immediate choices.
Given that Kear has only recently signed for Bradford, I will almost discount him as an option, Watson on the other hand is in charge of a club with 2,000 fans in SL, has asked for but knows he won't get any money for new players & Salford are on very shakey ground financially.
Ian has also played for Leigh & I reckon if DB offered the right deal & £££ for signings he might go for it.
Good young coach who will allow this squad to express themselves in a sporting sense.

Think the big loss excluding all the good players we let go for no good reason was Paul Cooke he revitalised our attack to get us promoted before and without him all attacking flare seems to have disappeared, hope this changes today but at the moment KC and NJ percentage tactics don't seem to be working. Do we need a new specialist attacking coach?
