| Quote: Alan "By the time Toronto complete their eleven away match start, they could have one heck of a lot of ground to make up, to climb into the top 4!'"
If allowed they are making the sport a laughing stock, no credible sport in the world does half away then half at home, especially when asking the away team to travel for about 13 hours a day or so before playing in Toronto and a 4 hour time difference.

I totally agree Neil. Just hope it backfires on them - and there will be a good few Championship teams who will be busting a gut to beat them.

| Nowt to do with the weather then, they played their first home game on May 6th this year and in 2018 its a week earlier April 28th the Championship starts a month earlier than League 1 so there's more games in Canada's winter months. 11 away games on the trot is no advantage to any team.

It is when its a 8 hour flight away, who are you trying to kid. They joined our comp, I wish them every success but they must comply with the comp. If the clubs have voted to allow this change then fair enough, if not then why not??

| Anybody know why both Leigh and Toronto are advising their supporters not to make travel arrangements and wait for a further announcement?

| Probably because clubs were not consulted and have told the RFL to go luv themselves supported by SL clubs who would not tolerate this in the future, and so do not want to set a precedent

Me thinks Perez is trying to make control the situation- could be a big test for the RFL this

| Regardless of weather or ground maintenance. If you can't meet the fixture then it gets back logged and you meet whatever alternative arrangement is made. If that ends up having to be three games in a week, then tough get on with it. We did.

But this must have been agreed by the RFL as a minimum, which if so shows them up for what they are, which is bordering on incompetent
I'm sue Leeds could have argued something similar with their ground situation but they seem to have planned accordingly to avoid a fixture farce

| Why all the speculation about Toronto or the RFL or the SL, just sit tight chaps it is not as though the first game is next week, there's nigh on 3 months before kick off.
On another subject, if true re Salfords financial situation and the forthcoming meeting they have with the RFL re Salford having the abillity to carry on in the SL, then that could be far more interesting in who would replace them?

Well it surely wouldn't be Toronto would it, as they have stated hey will only upgrade their ground as and when they reached the promised land - and therefore not in a position to do so at short notice, unlike another club I could name

| It's important everyone knows if a similar arrangement has been promised for the eights should the Woolpack get there. Would be outrageous if they special dispensation.
