Reynolds has certainly played at least one Super League match at Full Back for Castleford.

I can't recall him playing there for Leigh but I will not dispute it.

We’re looking to send a message this weekend

We’ve been looking at this Leigh game for some time now. As a group, we feel we need a challenge, and we want to see where we’re at.

That’s what Saturday is about – laying a marker down. Our aim is to get back in the Super League and this game is a perfect opportunity for us to test ourselves.

“It is what it is, it’s a game against a team in another competition. They challenged every Super League team they came up against last year and we should be able to do the same but I don’t really buy into it being a great opportunity to see where we are at.

“The goal for us this season is getting promoted to Super League and if we were to win this game it doesn’t mean that’s going to happen. If we beat Leigh on Saturday, it doesn’t mean we would do the same in the Qualifiers if we did meet them again. Equally, if they beat us it doesn’t mean we can’t compete at the end of the season.

“I’m not stupid enough to think it wouldn’t be a fillip to get the victory and it would give the supporters and the club a boost, but it guarantees nothing at the end of the day.”

There is no doubt in my mind, if Peacock was not involved in that club, Hull KR would still be a Super League side now.

It quite possibly is, unfortunately circumstances dictate that his services Saturday, will be required on the wing.

The Watcher has just seen the Hull KR team bus roll into town, they really are taking it seriously aren't they. The Watcher recalls Leigh taking this professional type action a few years back & we beat HKR. We really need to be on our mettle tomorrow.

If only Peacock had not made the disastrous decision to sack the very capable Chris Chester and replace him with the totally inept James Webster mid season.

If only Peacock had not made the equally disaterous decision to suspend Albert Kelly at the crucial business end of the season. Would Leigh have won at Craven Park otherwise ?

If only Peacock had focused all his time and efforts on Hull KR winning the MPG to preserve SL status, instead of spending the entire week prior negatively claiming the match was ludicrous, He did not want to play any part in it and ridicously bleating on that all the players where going to be unemployed with mortgages still to pay, effectively talking Hull KR out of winning it,before they even kicked it off,

Really professional to Bongser's fevered mind would be landing a team water-plane on Penny Flash or a private jet on a specially cleared bypass.
