| I think Leigh will win on Saturday.
On another subject I went to their semi against Cas and some of their fans let their club down that day.
Apart from that I always have thought their fans are ok.

On a point of info, Bongser thinks that the correct term is "Aris". Rhyming slang back formed like thus: Aris...Aristotle...bottle...bottle & glass...glass........
Seems a bit circular to him. Results in virtually the same word when the point was to confuse the peelers. Some 'Ampton obviously coined it.
Don't think that any game will be taken lightly this season. But Bongser does hope for a comfy Leythe win.

| Despite Widnes's current plight, I don't believe there is any such thing as an easy game in SL. As Steve says, anything less than 100% commitment and respect could lead to another painful lesson!

| Firstly, the forwards are having to do a lot more work this season. They've done really well but need rotating to avoid burn-out (with the possible exception of Stewart). Anyone know how Paterson is doing?
Riddy's kicking has been missed. His place kicking is a notch above his peers (that have still served us well.) But his kicking from hand is several notches above. Leigh have missed that creative variation - certainly in the second half against Wakey.
Go Riddy, go Weston, GO LEYTHE!

Either way, I hope it's picked by the coach and not the owner

Once coaches do the previous game review (Friday) and the analysis backs up that some players did not perform as required then they will be told they are being replaced the following weekend , aka dropped.
It keeps everyone on their toes.

| looking forward to seeing the best halfback performance of the Season from Riddy on Saturday, his field kicking has been sorely missed and his creative play also! I'm convinced he would have come up with line breaking plays against both Leeds and Wakefield, to steal the points which, he has done so many times before!
Weston too will be a boost as his go-forward and defence is punishing, a welcome return for our stand out forward from last season!!
Don't know what crowd Widnes will bring, my Widnes supporting family are not coming

Cheers Frank I have always enjoyed a few pints with you mate. Heard a few idiots going tomorrow for a up only and hope they behave. Every club has a few idiots and to be honest if I was about, I would not go because I do see a 20 to 30 point win for Leigh. Widnes are awful and a lot of fans want Betts gone.

| I have concerns about 3 players coming in at once who have little or no experience of playing in sl and are not match fit.Think us winning by 20 plus are very optimistic

I too have been concerned that certain players are not getting game time to boost their match fitness. Hopefully this game will give them some of that fitness, especially with the busy Easter schedule looming.
I assume you refer to Ridyard, Weston and Hood? Their 'limited' SL experience isn't as bad as it might seem. Weston has played 80 games in the NRL, for 4 clubs, and Hood has played 25 SL games at Leeds and Salford. His experience in the Four Nations, last year, should also stand him in good stead.

The point as I see it is that we have a balance of squad whereby people can come in and it not be detrimental to the teams performance - forwards are a prime example, think everyone realises they are all competing for their places, interesting choices to be made as and when a full squad is available
