Keith I agree with you 100%,I always respect your opinions and views, you know BOTH the Professional and Amateur game inside out,as you say Waneys record speaks for itself ,Wigan's Youth policy is to be envied by all Clubs, I do know Waney wants Leigh to do well in SL though not at Wigan's expense,good rivalry is healthy,I've Alan said in Sport I don't Hate anybody,that's a much to strong word to use
As far as Dom Manfredi coming to Leigh,that's a good one, it won't happen,some folk are dreaming here,for me Wigan have the best 2 wingers in SL in Manfredi and Burgess,I rate Gelling and Gildart is not far behind him.

Mo, I know you are a proud Leyther and want nothing more than a successful Leigh team , as we all do on this Forum,but again I know you will credit where it's due,Waney is always ready to give youth a chance, and Wigan are to be envied with their Youth Scheme,which is why I think the Forthcoming Tommy Sale idea is a great idea, there is no reason we shouldn't attract youngsters to the LSV if we can offer them a chance to progress with Leigh Centurions.

Well possibly if Leigh had spent over a decade in SL instead of out of it,we would have a worthy youth system..You can only work with what you have..

Can we emulate it ? , not sure , we can but try , but it does need separate funding from the club to succeed , and most likely us to remain both in SL and competitive in it , a difficult challenge

If we can go to Wigan on Friday night and compete with them, I will be happy.

It is good that we can be positive about going to Wigan, something that hasn't happened for a long time.

On Friday night there will be 13 players against 13 (on the pitch) and it looks like the conditions are more likely to determine the outcome rather than ability? It will probably come down to who wants it the most and, on the Swamp (aka JJB stadium) which team have the braver most enthusiastic players? I'll be there in mi wellies and survival kit

If Josh and Ben carry on getting better with every game then I think it may hard for Martin to get his place back. Two forty twenties weren't there on Friday for us.
A fit Martin Ridyard would walk into any team but he certainly didn't look fit in the Cas game.
Also Bens defence is top notch.
