Think we'll have a good following.
Met my 2 brothers today and they are both going 2 be there. They are flying to Toulouse from Manchester and hiring a car to Perpignan with a nephew and 2 others.
Reasonable price too as the flight cost them £90 each.

I go out on the 5th July to the 11th July for the Wigan match staying in Santa Susanna (my third year), I hope you will leave a bit of beer for us Frank and please feel free to give Le Cats a going over for us.
If you do your transfers with Catalan Sports Tours he picks up at all the resorts from near Barcelona to Perpignan and drops you close to the old Archway in the centre, walk under the arch and there is a great bar just at the other side. It was really buzzing last year there must have been over 1000 fans in that area, then the coach takes you to the couple of miles to the ground.

Understand Éloi Pélissier owns a restaurant in Canet-en-Roussillon - just outside of Perpignan.
Does anyone know the restaurant name and addresss?
Will be taking in the game whilst staying in Argelès-sur-Mer for a week (with a car) and thought of dropping in for a meal whilst in the area.
Perhaps someone could ask Éloi if he would mind posting a reply if no-one else knows.

Correction. I should have gone in the morning to Gran Canaria, the Doc told me on Friday he was advising me to cancel which I have done. I am now thinking of adding a few days at the front of my Holiday to see the Wigan Match in July so that I can take in the Leigh match as well.
That is if some kind hearted well off Leigh fans (Frank) can help me out with a bit of ale money, I may be a bit skint by then. Still hoping to make it on the 22nd at the warm up. |
