| Corey was my MoM today [i*utter Class*[/i, closely followed by 'Dicko' Dixon.
Josh Drinkwater has been signing of the season IMO jointly with [i'Choo - Choo'[/i Weston, whoever spotted JD playing NSW Cup played a blinder getting him signed, I hope someone can convince him to extend his deal.
Smith, solid, dependable & versatile again, Liam gave us his best game of the season despite being off to Toronto Centurions next season. Hock, Higham, Hood, Hansen, [i4 Big 'H's[/i who are head & shoulders above anything Fax had on offer today.
To a man an outstanding performance barr a little spell of sleepy time where some suspect soft tackles & penalty conceding crept in.
Very proud & happy to see Leigh clinch a [i3rd Successive League Leaders Shield[/i today.
Ready for the 8's now & some big noisy crowds at the LSV.
Edit.

Martyn Ridyard ...... He's one of our own"

| Still waiting to see the whole match yet but from the sounds of it and by the looks of the highlights this was one of the best Leigh displays in years. Is that fair to say? To put 58 on a Fax side feels brilliant.
Another point. Drinkwater has been a fantastic signing. Not as quick as Brierley but as near a replacement to him as we could have asked for. So what next for the young half back? Will he stay with us? I suppose it all depends on how we do in the middle 8's.
A final point, hurry up LCTV! It's now Tuesday afternoon.

Josh Drinkwater is 10X the tactical general at scrum half than Ryan Brierley has ever been...

A slight exaggeration there I feel, Ste. Although I know where you're coming from.

| Best performance of the season I think. Keep the pressure on and not switching off.We played some very good attacking rugby while being solid in defence. Ridy had a great game doing what he does best moving the team around. Dixon had a great game considering he hasn't played for so long and will be very good to have back for the Super 8s. Kay looks to be finding some form again in recent weeks. Patterson deserved his Man of the Match though for me, was involved in so much and never took a backwards step.

Ryan has his undoubted qualities - the major one being exceptional pace. Josh (and Riddy) are more 'complete' half backs than Ryan will ever be. (in my opinion)

Are you ever going to let it go, he's gone move on.
Two completely different types of half back, Brierley is 10 x the poacher try scorer Drinkwater is. Did you see his tries at the weekend or were you checking the Oldham team to see if he'd gone there on DR yet.
Would I have him back - probably not, but he has assets the we are missing

| I was pleasantly surprised how quick Josh was when making that break for Liams try, he also had the awareness to slow down and put Liam clear. What showed the intelligence of Josh for me though was first half, he took the line on and scored then ran at the line sucked them all in for Dixon to get to his kick and score. Reynolds as the 3rd half back also had a great game - it feels great going into the 8's knowing we are so strong where it matters
