That isnt official confirmation or am I missing something? I thought Leigh were excellant yesterday, my MOM was Dixon after his long lay off closely followed by Patterson and Fui. Smith played well at centre and Reynolds didnt look out of place. Disappointed with Fax performance. Were they that bad or did or Leigh make them look that average. I havent got a problem with the team and the way they play. I think the club should put all these rumours to bed. Its no wonder no-one new joins this forum. The club did a release confirming Whiting had signed for next season when they announced he was on loan for this season

John do you work for a reasonably sized business, do they respond to every rumour started in a tea break? Owners lead and managers manage for a reason, we aint a social club committee any more although I accept that some feel we should be. Owners players and coaches continually change, we support a club and those owning it pay for the privilege to make the decisions.
Can you imagine the man hours needed to satisfy the whims of a few, time will show who is staying and who is leaving enjoy the now and trust that the 2017 squad will be better than the 2016

Why should the club put all these rumours to bed? It will all come out in the wash. If a player doesn'the want to be here I would rather they went. Ask yourself the reason they want to play in Championship 1 rather than the Champ or SL. Most of the ones leaving could get a contract in the championship but they have chosen to play on the lowest tier of pro RL in front of sub 400 crowds when over here

Some of the most interesting comments I've read this year have been in Derek's Observer column. Astute interesting and aware.

I go wonder though why Derek persists ? We have won the league 3 times , excellent ground finance and fans yet have to go through the charade of M8 without having any real ability to recruit SL players. My concern is that the number of contracts ending this year shows a finality. If it isn't then please RFL don't allow Toulose and Toronto any say in how the home and away aspects of future M8's are organised.

But have you read the sheeite you posted to get a reaction? As a fan be critical, positive criticism is always good when supported but after all the crap we fans have had to endure this year you have to expect the " oh no not another " type response

The problem is if you feel you are saying something against 'the norm', using facts in your discussion would help greatly. Your very first post on the 10th July having joined on the 9th was a mixture of what most people already knew from reading the rugby papers, which is fine, however it also contained some statements allegedly told to you by a non playing player which I know to be totally untrue. There are several members here who are here just to stir the pot and unfortunately for yourself you placed yourself into that category in many peoples minds with the inaccuracies and tone of your original post. You have clearly been 'lurking for years' (if indeed you are a new member, name changes are not unknown ) and appeared to know exactly the response you would get. There is nothing wrong with opinions, but it helps if they are based on fact.

There are quite a few posters who post against 'the norm' and these posters could also say that those that disagree with them are the ones posting against the norm, the norm is different depending in which view you take. You are not a debater because you don't accept an opposite view so you have a go.
