| Is it just me that doesn't understand the necessity in having Ridyard/Brierley/Chase on the field at the same time?
Personally I think attempting to shoehorn them in, where others are better suited will only end badly.
All three are terrific players at this level, which (if managed correctly) should only be advantageous to Leigh. Competition for places is a good thing and can bring out the best in a player.

Time for more Debate !!! LOL'"
Sorry Snowy, not convinced with that one. Not in the backs at least.
We have 3 good wingers at the club, I would let them play on the wing rather than stick a halfback and an out of form centre there. Tonga and Pala are injured for a while yet and Harper is very raw so I think Worthington and Armstrong are pretty much our only options in the centres.
Kay could maybe do a job at full back but Pownall has played there much more often and we have presumably just signed Lee Smith for that position to cover for McNally. Also, Kay is the best winger at the club and the best in the league so why play him out of position?
6-17 I agree with although I would find a spot for Emmitt in my team as I think he is class. Probably instead of Higson, not a fan of having wingers on the bench.
I agree that Riddy and Rangi is probably our best halves combo. I watched the game back last night and for their 1st and 3rd tries Brierley shoots out of the line and they come in behind him as he is way out of position. Would have no issues with him being dropped to be honest. He had a very poor game on Sunday although his reaction when he scored in front of the fans was fantastic and showed how much he still wants to be here.
After questions about last weeks selection it will be interesting to see how Jukesy sets us up against Oldham!

Nozzy you can't leave Ryan out, he can score from anywhere on the pitch, kick goals, links the backs and forwards very well with his passes, and after watches his celebration on Sunday after he scored has got his hunger and passion back, for me the first name on my team sheet EVERY week. Charlie knows.

| Every coach of every team in every sport is under pressure but I don't think Jukes will be under undue pressure just yet. You can't take away from Batley & how well they played, yes we should have done better but that's down to the players not the coach. Half backs did go missing, without victimising or blaming anyone for anything I think in some of the Super 8s games, the friendly against Warrington & the Batley game when the going gets tough Ryan can sometimes go missing; we have 3 excellent half backs competing for 2 positions, don't play them out of position let them compete for the 2 available. For me at the moment it's Ridy & Rangi that get the spots.

| An honest question.
Do you think the players were/are distracted with the recent upheavals and are the players behind Jukes?

John my opinion and answer to your questions are No the players weren't distracted by what had happened previously, and Yes I think all the players as well as most of the Fans are behind Jukesy 100%.

I don't think Ryan EVER goes missing. In some games he tries a little too hard and becomes less effective.Sunday was one such game.
What would I do on Sunday, I really don't know as Ryan, Riddy and Chase for me did not stand out as much as they can and probably should

LF it's probably obvious I like Ryan and have a lot of time for him, last season
n his role in the team seemed to involve linking the forwards with the backs, but I think Rangi will, do that this season, allowing Ryan to feed off Rangis passes and breaks,I still think Ryan is worth maybe 30 tries or more this season and therefore shouldn't be dropped, where does Riddy fit in?For me at Centre.

The point of having 3 halves is the ability to rotate them so they aren't knackered come the middle 8's like last season. No need to play them all every week

And what happens if one ends up injured, your back to two again. How many players needed ops last season! 8 was it? So whats wrong with moving Riddy to to give them a rest.
