Wire rely on Hill and Simms too much for there go forward,and there kicking game was way off.They kicked to the tallest guy on the park all the time and he handled it,scored a try and won mom.They put one bomb up into the middle towards Dixon who didn't want anything to do with it,but they didn't continue with it.

You're right, you are a very good team and a joy to watch. however if a good Leigh team turn up on Saturday, we are in for an absolute cracker. I must also add that i really hope we don,t have that incompetent referee Child, because it will spoil it for everyone including rugby league.

As you say it's over a week since the deadline signings, maybe it's not occurred to you just yet that he may have signed before the deadline as neither club announced the signing, but don't let that get in the way of your conspiracy theories.

It should hopefully be a cracker... From what I have seen of Leigh they have played some really good attacking stuff too - You really remind me of the season we went up, playing the game with confidence and a lack of fear and that makes you dangerous.

I think whichever team can get the defensive side of things right will be the winners on the weekend, but our away form combined with your very good home form mean that although I believe we can win, I certainly don't expect it!

For a team that has just about all season to plan for the middle 8's it does seem that Wakey do not appear to have done a lot of forward planning. It will usually take 3 or 4 new players a few weeks to gel its going to take 7 or 8 months.

Thanks for nice words about Saturday. Leigh this year are pretty similar to us in 06 and we can appreciate what it's like to come back from teetering on the brink so well done to Leigh for that.
As for Saturday, I think you'll see pretty good numbers travelling over to continue the feel good factor that Saturday has brought. Think the game could go either way, you might see Rovers on the crest of a wave or there might be a few eyes on Wembley already. To be honest I would expect Widnes to reap the benefits of that due to people being rested and then Wakey the week after the final. It's a massive game for both teams on Saturday, Leigh have an opportunity to lay down a marker against the team favourites to come through the middle 8s and a win for Rovers should just about see us through what with the 4 home games to come.
Should be a good day regardless.

I think Saturday is a big game, and I don't think there will be a cup hangover as such from Rovers, I firmly believe we will turn up and showcase a good performance and wins/momentum is key leading upto Wembley. As alluded to, it'll be maybe the week before the CC final that might be a flat performance.
Both teams need to win this one and i'm looking forward to renewing that 'friendly' Leigh/Rovers rivalry we had from years back!!
