I see the board as a mix of information, banter, fun and comment. Posters can use whatever name they wish, but should not break the law or purposely distress others. Mods have privileged access to information that is meant to remain just that. Most of all enjoy the craic and contribute.

I can confirm that 'Alan' doesn't use any other account (given what I know about his knowledge of this new fangled cumputer thingery I'd be quite frankly amazed if he knew how to do it anyway).

Use of multiple IDs is not breaking any rules I'm informed on this Board if indeed anyone is actually doing so.
However what is far more serious in my opinion Alan is a moderator abusing the power of being a moderator by disclosing peoples real names on a forum like what happened the other night with Maurice/ Nostradamus lad.
A clear breach of moderators rules I would say having read the site information.
If childish rumours are indeed going round regards people using multiple IDs it's obvious we're they are coming from and a clear breach of people's data protection and abuse of moderators powers in my opinion.
Good job we just laugh it off and see it for what it is or some people could be in hot water.
Let's Not let a bit of silliness get in the way of spreading the word that Leigh Centurions are on the way back to the top and are building a fearsome team off the pitch to match the one on it!!!!!

Just had a read through this thread whilst on my dinner break. Pretty confused about when/why this forum became so miserable but it seems people need to stop being so soft! I don't particularly care if anyone knows who I am of not but to be honest I quite like the anonymous nature of RL Fans. If you want names and faces just use twitter or Facebook instead.
At the end of the day, rugby league is the most important of the unimportant things in life and maybe we need reminding of that sometimes. Smile, it might never happen!

The biggest problem is with the way some people word their posts. A question worded one way could look like a sarcastic dig to some people. When this happens often by the same person it appears that they are putting a dampener on any good news that is announced.
