| We need something as the atmosphere at the LSV at times is like sitting in a Weatherspoons in Surrey at 2pm.
Admittedly playing in a 3/4 empty ground doesn't help and hopefully that will improve with results this season and the promise that RL is going to be all about on field importance again.
Would love to see us put all the away fans in a designated area, can't see us opening the South stand but maybe let the opposition club know what the preference is for visiting fans in advance (so they can put it on the website / programme in advance) eg : Halifax fans advised to enter via turnstile number xx in the West stand, at least then they'd migrate to one area which will help when the smaller clubs turn up with 40 fans.
Not sure I'd like to hear a drum but maybe a 'choir leader' as witnessed in Italy / German football games would work this season ?

| I remember someone turning up with a loudhaler at a Chorley game. He did get the crowd going but was told to shut by the announcer or he would be removed from the ground. He was very funny.

| There should be a band with drums and trumpets playing throughout the match. Lots of flags, twirling scarves and banners and fans doing the bouncy bouncy. The youngsters would love it and it would create a good atmosphere.
Most of these old codgers on here would much rather have an atmosphere akin to watching a game of dominoes. Knock knock.

Plenty planned for the coming season WYSI and hope we can meet at some point and share a pint, it's good to have you back!
We were pretty keen to get a band or drum going to lift the atmosphere but it doesn't seem to be going down well from the feedback I've seen here and twitter etc so we will review this.
It is about the youngsters and engaging young people with the club but we do also have a duty to provide for and look after our older generation of loyal supporters also and will do this.

| Give Parky Pig a drum and get him marching up and down in front of the stands. Works pretty well with the England mascot. Plus Parky seems to have a bit of a low profile at the moment, would like to see him used a bit more effectively.
