I would happy if super league was cut to 12 and more money was given to BARLA to distribute but its not. Its like saying why should some clubs try so hard to expand the game and grow when others are just happy to receive the money and become quids in.

The problem the game has is we do not have 12 of those clubs you speak of, so if you enforced your criteria you would currently have Leeds, Wigan and Warrington and possibly Hull and Saints, you then have Cats over the water - a SL of 6 would be difficult to promote
What we need to do as a sport is grow the elite and create a pathway to that elite, is this the best way? Its certainly a huge improvement on what we had but I have advocated two Full Time tens since 2002 so I firmly believe in that structure as the platform to create a genuine elite with a second tier to grow from and fall into as circumstances change.
For our club this breathes life into us, and if what has been muted reference funding materialises, we realise we must be full time to hit our goals and those of our sponsors.
2014 looks like being the most important in this clubs history imo

| I am still worried that even though two super league teams will be relegated, the top super league teams will get greedy and expect more of the cash pot.One of there arguments was that they did not agree to championship teams getting more of a share,so how do they expect them to be competitive.I do not want to see the same thing happening again when we had promotion and relegation where the relegated team had an unfair advantage.

| Funding arrangements are announced next week I think. But 2.4 million is the share of the 2 relegated clubs. Some I reckon will go to them in the form of a parachute payment. As for the rest who knows.

| I see the Wakey fans are trying to get a wave of anti new structure going on their forum. Very selfish and narrow minded IMO.
Talking about a rally against it.

Same anti feeling in the Bradford forum. Lets face it 2 clubs are going to lose their 1.2 million sky income in 2015. Even though they haven't yet officially stated how the 2 will be decided. Wakey and Bradford will be amongst the battle along with possibly Cas and London and I wouldn't rule out Widnes and HKR either

We preferred the 2 up 2 down.
No issue with promotion/relegation, its this confusing new rules we don't like.
I have always said I like P&R. Give other teams a fighting chance.

The concept and middle 8? and not knowing full league fixtures at the start of the season.
What's wrong with a straight up 2 up 2 down?
I like P&R, always have.

| P&R can only work between FT leagues imo, the impact on relegated clubs is as great as that on the promoted. This structure allows a FT second tier for at least 50% of the clubs although I would prefer a FT structure of two tens - which can be funded within the current deals

| And that way Mo we could start in March and finish in August leaving plenty of time for visits to Benidorm.

With 27 fixtures before play offs that would mean a lot of midweek games

I heard it was the two clubs who reach the grand final share 600,000.
Either way,its good money.

Can anyone point me to a 'link' that clarifies this? (i.e are the 'top 2' numbers one and two in the Championship table, or the two Grand Finalists, who could, theoretically, be numbers 7 and 8 in the Championship table?)
It would be really good to know this - certainly before the final Championship fixture!
